Could be one of 2 servers. 1 loads the images, the other is the database server that runs the phpnuke that runs this site.

Means either your internet connection is running slow or the server providing the images is running slow. In this case if its happened to others, then its the latter.

nothing terribly important, but so you know....

when i put an emoticon in on a forum or pm, instead of displaying the pic, its changes it to the description that comes up when you hold the mouse over it.
I've noticed that its happened for other people too.
