Upper Headlight Support

Post by hj27910 »

I was wondering if anybody has ever had experience with removing/replacing the upper headlight support on their FTOs?

Long story short, I was backed into by a car with a tow bar and its' bent the support which sits just in front of the radiator and between the lamps. I can see that there is a gap of sorts between both ends which connects it to the headlight supports on both sides but there doesn't seem to be any bolt on points around. I have a strong feeling that this is welded on but in any case I'll need to find a replacement and get it on.

Any advice is appreciated! :D

For reference, it's the part 62640.

Yep, is welded on. You can either drill out the spot welds on a 2nd hand one or buy a new one from amayama.
