GPX brakes on GR

Post by REDDERthanyours »

So this is an easy bolt on swap?

Rotors and calipers... how much should I pay for these parts from a wrecker?

Stoopid noob/mechanical dummy question... the old GR front brakes would fit on the back? creating a lot more stopping power... but dangerously so?

You should buy new rotors, they're cheap enough. Don't use second hand.

You should only buy the calipers second hand.

The front brakes won't fit on the back at all.

You can, but the question is should you?.

And the answer is no. It's $70 for a new pair of rotors.

Depending on what wheels you have, you may want to check for clearance.

GR stock wheels (or at least the aftermarket ones I had on my FTO originally) can't accommodate the larger GPX brakes.
Me? Bitter? f**k no. I think it's hilarious.
