Did you know? Headlight difference between GPX & GPvR

Post by DODO`` »

See pic. GPX has 3 connectors into the leadlight unit and GPvR has 2.

I'm also selling this HID headlight that came with the car and moving to factory one. Ill do a straight swap with factory headlight in good condition if anyones interested. Will put up more pics.

Yes, GPvR came with factory HIDs.

Was also a factory option for the other models.

And the extra connector is a facelift addition. Not GPvR.

It is for the parker, prefacelift models had the parker in the fog light/indicator assembly.

Yeah, it's been removed. You can see the mounting points for a ballast on the bottom. They're definitley HID housings.

AHHA now it makes sense.

I thought they replaced the entire headlight. did know you can keep the housing & change out the bulb alone!

Id love to swap these two over between GPX & vR..

Do you reckon it can be done?

GPX has 3 wire connectors and vR has 2
