Not overly difficult. Took me 30 minutes to replace mine.

You will need:
14mm Flare Nut Spanner for the bottom flare nut
19mm Spanner for the top bolt
12mm Spanner or socket
10mm Spanner or socket

Step 1. Remove the bottom rear seat cushion, and you will see a plate in the centre held on by four screws. Remove these four screws and then disconnect the connector from the fuel pump. Start the engine and allow it to stall on its own.

Step 2. Remove the intake pipe and battery to gain better access to the fuel filter.

Step 3. Undo the bottom flare nut using a 14mm flare nut spanner. (I did this from under the car but it is possible to do it from above.

Step 4. Undo the top eyebolt using a 19mm spanner.

Step 5. Remove the two 12mm bolts holding the bracket to the firewall.

Step 6. Remove the old filter and bracket from the car and loosen the 10mm bolt that holds the fuel filter in the bracket, Put the new filter into the bracket and tighten up the bolt.

Step 7. Put the new filter and bracket back into the car and tighten up the two 12mm bolts.

Step 8. Tighten up the bottom nut with the 14mm flare nut spanner.

Step 9. Place the two new copper washers you should have received with your new filter onto both sides of the eyebolt and then tighten it up to the filter using the 19mm spanner.

Step 10. Reconnect the fuel pump, intake pipe and battery then start the car and check for leaks.
