When using a Magna TB though, you leave the Magna ISC in right?

Ah, then no. You don't use the Magna stepper. You use the FTO stepper.

Thread revival.
Am I right in thinking that you can't just use the fto stepper in a magna throttle body due to the different plunger hole that it's going in, so do you swap the bottom casing bit from an FTO one and then use an FTO stepper so the whole bottom part of the TB is FTO?
Wondering if this is why rowans car won't idle right as he's using a magna stepper.

Yeah, need to swap over the whole lower section. Careful you don't split the gasket.

Yep transfer all FTO bits across, including stepper.

FTO left, Magna right

Short term - I've swapped the throttle body and put the fto one back with the fto stepper - lots better, no more stalling.
So i'll do the bottom swap next and put the magna one back with the fto bottom, see how it runs then.
Cheers fellas.

Probably need to add some fuel at idle & low rpms. Runs leaner with the bigger TB.
