ECU Wiring diagram

Post by Technikhaus »

Hey all,
So we're trying to work out the wiring diagram for the ECU.

Image

Is this diagram looking at the harness or at the ecu itself?

We're pretty sure it's looking at the harness, but want to confirm...

It states above the listing for #1...
"viewed as your looking at the ECU pins top side up"

So it's looking at the ECU pins not the harness

This is looking at the ECU as printed in the electrical manual, it is the same as your pic
ECU Harness 01.jpg
To confirm...
This pic is of the ignition coil in the electical manual
Ignition coil elec manual.jpg
This pic is looking at the ignition coil in the workshop manual
Ignition coil workshop manual.jpg
This shows that the electrical manual diagrams are looking at the units not the harness...So your pic is looking at the ECU!

Sweet, thanks. It was kind of confusing the way they mentioned it...

So confirming, it would be as if you're looking at the back of the wiring plugs?

Pretty much this, and it can be cool for launch control.

And neither of us have cats 8)

With our stock exhausts it doesn't shoot flames :(

Maybe with a new one...

It's an adjustable rev limiter, can set it from anywhere around 2500 and up

Because rev limiting sounds cool ;)

I need one of those because my engine has no rev limit at all, it would be cool to hit a limiter at 8500rpm
