Rear brakes

Post by ARC »

Hey fellas,

I had my FTO rear discs machined down to minimum last week.
Thinking forward, I'd like to put in some DBA's, but they've removed them from the catalog.

I've found that the CH Lancer rear discs are 262mm quite close to FTO's 260mm rear discs.
DBA list the CH discs as DBA2203, has anyone here used these ?

I know it's only a 2mm difference, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I have a 2nd hand set of RDA slotted rear rotors on the shelf in the garage if you are happy enough with 2nd hand. They came off my FTO about 6 months ago when I puton a new matching set. Absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Thanks for the offer dstocks, but I may have a set of DBA's lined up already.
Was just unsure whether or not to take them.

You should take them. DBA dont make them anymore (they are out of production), so you wont get them again.

There's a couple of RDAs still floating around on eBay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DRILLED-SLOT ... 1303800700

But correct on the DBAs. We actually ran the group buy that cleaned out the last of their stock. I picked up all the last sets from their Silverwater manufacturing & distribution centre.

Supercheap has IBS or Protex rears.
Brake Direct won't be able to help you with sh*t. They will promise they can..take your money...sit on it...then say ooops sorry, can't get your DBA, how about we sell you Protex?
