Type X Fronts are about $800.
Type X Sub About $600
Amp for Sub $800
Amp for Fronts $500

They are very expensive

my mate has a type x sub though and the bass is insane

IMO you're better off going the slightly cheaper Type R's. The bass response from them is amazing given the size (2x 5.1/4" was putting out as much bass as a Kicker 10" sub).

I've got the 6" Type S in my tri, and they're good for the price, but lack the bass response I sometimes need.
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!
