Interior led strip

Just wondering how to install the led inside the car? where should I connect the positive and negative of wire to?

Just like when open the door, the led will bright up. Thanks for the information.. :)

i was interested in doing similar, i'm guessing connecting wires to the domelight so it triggers whenever the door opens?

anyone else done it before?

I hooked mine up to the light around the ignition ring.

Pro: they stay on for 30 seconds after you close the door.
Con: they only light up when the driver side door is open, not the passenger door.

It is easy to attach it to the switches in the doors.
LED ALL the things.

ignition ring sounds like great idea, nice and close to the footwell as well.

haha who cares about the passenger, they can learn to deal with their non-led entrance :p

which LED strips did you go for? just the eBay ones?

i might take a pic of my leds in my doors tonight
i used flexi strip around the speaker grill
was thinking of using it the door card but meh

my ignition ring isn't glowing so i opened up the steering column, dug in deep but can't seem to find the bulb.

can anyone draw on my pic and tell me where i should be looking?

which side should i be looking at?

the ignition ring side, towards the engine?

Towards the back drivers side corner of the car.
LED ALL the things.
