Sound System

Post by bradicus »

Installed a sound system in my fto, 2 amps, sub, 4 new speakers, double din head unit.

Have a 4 way amp for the speakers, some professional that does this for living was telling me you should still run 2 speakers off the head unit. So I did that with the front speakers, lets just say it sounds a lot better when the front speakers are running off the amp. Dont know why he gave me that advice? Will upload some pics later

Ideally you'd want to run everything off amps. Going to get better power and quality. Mono block for your sub and either 2x 2channels or 1x 4 channel for the speakers
There are two types of people on forums; those that give helpful advice, and the others

He probably meant run the rears off the head unit and bridge the fronts for more power. This is Without going into active setups with components
