it actually stays on fairly well there 8 coats on that car, you need a heat gun to peel it off after it dries

Hi Guys,

Thanks to everyone for their contributions and patience during this start up phase.

We are basically ready to dispatch everyone's orders, but before we start sending the kits out, I just want to highlight some important application notes and applicable drying times, that weren't mentioned in the Indiegogo campaign.

So the main things you need to consider are the drying times and application temperatures (more important now winter is approaching):

The recommended cure time is 72 hours at an ambient temperature of 20°C
Surface temperature should be above 10°C and less than 35°C.
Do not apply if rain is imminent.

This means after application you shouldn't expose the surface to water or rain within 3-5 days or it could soften the wrap and you'll end up with a bubbles and peeling. Also, if you apply in cool temperatures, the cure time will be longer.

Now, we know not everyone can be without their car for 3-5 days in case it rains and we're not looking to take your hard earned cash and ride off in to the sunset, so, we can offer you three options:

We can offer you a full refund for your Indiegogo contribution... or if you're still keen,
We have been developing a solvent-based alternative which is weatherproof in 5-7 hours (instead of 72 hours), is more durable and easier to peel off. However, the solvent-based Liquid Wrap is not going to be available until June.
We can also still send out the water-based Liquid Wrap if drying times are not an issue.

With all that said, please let us know by return email how you wish to proceed.

Thanks again for your support and we apologise for any inconvenience.

Cheers,

and in another email "the solvent stuff is pretty exciting. We are going to be able to do matte, satin, gloss and metallic, and we're even playing with a 24k gold finish." interesting
