Making the FTO more practical. (mod in the making)

Post by Astron_Boy »

So, without giving too much away yet, I will show things as they progress, but simply leave gaps where the end result is apparent.

If I outline where the issues lay, it may give too much away, so it's simply a log of mods with pictures.

*Removed the before shots, we all know what it would look like.

Sound deadening.

lawl.

Given most people add mahoosive sound systems, and whatever the fudge else to their car, this is pretty modest.
The sound absorption mat in this case is rather light weight as it's not the butyl kind.
Won't make the car dead quiet, but more than factory.

In this end, this is simply a lead in to the primary mod in the works.

EDIT: So far doing the parcel shelf, under back seat, behind back seat, inner cabin rear quarters I have used 8.5 rolls (3sqm)

    Must I paint a picture?

The tyre inflator can is to gas them
The tape is to bind and keep them quiet.
The watch is for them to see how much time they've left.
The stanley knife finishes the job.

The wheel brace is there purely for changing a tyre.

How many rolls have you used so far.

Of the sound deadener that is, not the tape ;)

May have to get myself some sound deadener.
