I, technisaurus, wired the angel eyes into the parkers, they look awesome, and are very bright at night!

    Got your Pm. I will inquire to the shop that does the work and see what prices they get, as I'm suspecting they will be quite high, so maybe I can get your two without having to pay much out of my pocket.

    Thats a good plan. Usually they are fairly expensive.

      Considering he said a new bar would be in the range of $1000, probably.

      Btw, how long does it generally take to get the Factory Ts made? Iirc it was 2 weeks?

        I have had people make money out of this sort of thing before. If you play your cards right there is a chance you can too. As long as its a win win for you and the repairer.....

          As in, me make money? I don't see how particularly. I'd be happy to get the bar and headlights without having to pay more than I have.

          In the movies :roll: ;) they would;

          Panel beater gets quotes for parts = a lot

          Person making claim through insurance buys parts privately at 1/2 cost, but panel beater claims his prices.

          Customer and preferred panel beater split the difference and have a boys night out on the town..

          Yep, did that with the break in to my car a few years ago. Airbag wheel - $1300, steering column $900 at the time from Mitsi Aust. Ordered from Japan and split the difference with the repairer. Made $600

            Its not as though you are doing anything wrong. You are selling him parts as a supplier and he is outting a markupon them and selling them back to you retail. Worst he can say is no!.

              9 out of 10 times they would jump at it if you get the parts for them. Even if they don't give you some $$$ they would be happy to do some extra work on the car that you need doing.
              That is how I got some of the black done on my car :twisted: .

              Hmm, in that case I may very well ask. The cost for all of the parts I can get through dstocks, not including postage, is $1000. I got the impression from one shop that I could warrant replacing the bar as mentioned.

              Also, the age excess I'm paying is ludicrous, so now that I think of it I wouldn't mind getting some of that back if I can.

              $1000 would be the price that includes the TS factory facelift im assuming. Sell me back your drivers side headlight (as id alsobe sending 2 x mint facelift headlights) and itll be less. If you want stock facelift bar, much less.
