New Vent Design

Post by dstocks »

Well, seeing as my new bonnet will have vents, itll be too much if the top of the guard does too, so im working on a new vented guard for myself. Want it to be much more rounded than the Kaze vents as I think that will suit my kit better. So, modifying a stock guard with a fibreglass insert. Anyway, here's the progress so far:

Need to fibreglass it in now.

Oh, I like where this is going already!

Will be good to see it once it's all fiberglassed in, look forward to the result :)

Just out of interest, for those of you with the Kaze fenders, it is reasonably easyto convert your existing vents to this shape if desired (the inserts were originally out of the Kaze fender mould).

Oooh, may be more keen on this one, I'm not a big fan of the top vents on the kaze ones...
