Centre consoles

Post by c3rbera »

Been thinking about what to do with building mine as the custom jobbie is falling apart and my head unit is sinking..
I have a mildly cracked floor console and a chance at a wrecked stereo surround that could be intact. But we know it all breaks when you try to fit it anyway.

Anyhoo, came across this, any opinions?

Worth a try. Once its broken though, no use persisting with it (ive tried most things and failed). You are better off biting the bullet and getting a new one. They arent brittle like the old ones.

Look at me Ruby...look at me...good...now listen to these instructions very carefully......
You have to let 'him/her/it' go.... you cannot pull a Frankenstein out on that console.....breathe in...breathe out...do that some five times....now pick up the phone...call Dwayne...and order a new set of consoles. There.... now you can breathe normal. Its over. :)

    You are welcome.

May as well give it a go, perhaps find some brittle plastic that's not worth so much to try it out with first? :?:
