Happens quite a bit... :?

I remember a guy in Melbourne, had an old Manaro.. Was his pride and joy, had it from brand new in the factory... He was retired, and working on it one day in the garage, wife hadn't seen him for a while, and went out to check on him... Crushed by the car...

Safety is very important, and no matter how many times you have worked on a car, or how knowledgeable you are, things can always go wrong. So make sure you abide by simple safety measures...

And that was my jack ...
I just had to add it ......

Yep I always use stands. And on my hoist at work, I check arms before car leaves the ground, again when it's just off the ground, check it shaking front or rear bumper/tyre then it can go up further.

Safety first!
I fix cars.

I also find that drinking ones body weight in beer prior to doing anything mechanical helps safety as well.
