When my family moved here in 1969 from NZ no Visa or passport was required.
I am automatically classed as a permanant resident.
I could become a citizen if I wished to.
I just can't join any ADF or I can't vote, unless I become a citizen.
I have never seen inside a voting booth.

It just becomes a bit tricky when I need proof of residency as there is none.

I question the legitimacy of your claim to the presidency of FTOAustralia if you aren't an Australian citizen.

Well considering our current Prime Minister technically has no right to be in power, so I'm sure we can make an exception for Phil in this instance
