Group Buy: New KMC EL Dials

Post by kmc »

Hi all,

Just been redesigning my new dials.

Actual Picts of dial kit

thanks

Image

OK now to answer some questions

Yes these will be in MPH only as its not feasable to make KMPH version

It is for manual and 4 speed tip and 180mph

I'm currently checking to see if its feasable to do a 5 speed tip.

These are off limited print, approx 100.

Price will be approx 45-55 UK pounds plus postage

Available in approx 4 weeks time..now delayed to mid July...sorry

If you can live with a 180mph dial then i can certainly do a deal on a GB but Bennoz will need to PM me to officially organise it.

cheers

I have to know something... are these dials just stickers or cardboard things to put in place of the old ones or are they custom made plastic things?

I"d be interested to know cause if they're just stickers you might be able to go into a signmaking place & get them custom designed / printed & cut to specification for a better price than the 50 GBP + Shipping, get them done in bulk & you can split the costs between everyone who wants them..

i was under impression they were actually a replacable plate??

Regarding the MPH .. will the positions line up to be KM/ph equivilant.

E.g. it reading 60 MPH when im driving... - would that actually be MPH or 60 KMP/h.

not sure if im making sense lol

either way i have interest in this product :)

Not feasable? Due to cost making alternate sets I presume?

you are correct on that. Only solution to that is to place a kmph sticker over the mph, might not suit everyone. sorry.

4 weeks to manu and i can also say that a 5 speed Rev dial will also be made.

I personally dont see the problem with it having MPH instead of KPH written on it, the numbers are still in the same place aren't they? and if anyone gets in your car you can say your doing 100mph when its only 100kmh

Majority of the buyers will be from the UK so for him to print in bulk, cost wise it would be better for him.

The majority of us guys here in Aus would wait for someone to install then buy it.

I would think like him also, no point printing out just a couple and sending it half way across the world.

It all comes down to cost.
