Righto... cant wait for this to go ahead...

Laws have changed in QLD now (and soon to be the same in other states)..

Anything other than a minor defect (bald tyres, etc) and the accused has to appear before a court to have the matter heard...

So im booked in for the 14th of Jan at southport magistrate... woo!! :(

Its basically up to the officer at the time as to give you a ticket or issue a court date...

And yeh i got done for bonnet (again) and exhaust (96db) but only have to clear the exhaust for court... but clear bonnet for re-inspection...

GB is definately going ahead...

Yeh... legal limit can vary from 90-100db... Depends on the state and car...

Apparently ours is 90db... So 96 is bloody close... only cause they were tight arses...

Just going to chuck a resonator in the new exhaust...

And yeh still up for swapping...

If its still loud on your N/A motor, then just put in a resonator... but i'd say it'd be fine (been through probably 50 RBTs and at least 20 Defect Inspections fine)

the difference between 90 and 96 is a lot. dB its a log scale. for every 3dB you double your loudness.
