Group Buy: Clear Indicators

Post by Bennoz »

Yes I've searched

Anyone bought any lately? I know I can get them from Perfect Run, but they end up being about $100 bucks landed. And no, I dont want to butcher an MX5 set to fit. I just want a set at the right price that I can fit.

Problem is, out here the MX5's only have jaffas as well  (Gov regulation)

And for me to source clear MX5's will cost the same as the FTO units.

I originally checked into that when I saw you guys doing it :)

I found some uber cheap ones a while ago which were the clear lenses from an MX5 ... i think it worked out to around $35-40 AUD incl postage

They also had some better looking ones with a chrome trim (polished aluminium) & a set with brushed aluminium for about $55-70 AUD incl postage (i think)

I should still have the site in my favourites.. will check when i get home.

no, the silver chrome bulbs are illegal (I think the exception is if you have an orange lense)

If you have clear indicators (unsure of legalities of it) you *must* have an orange indicator bulb & it *must* be clearly visible

Last I heard he had them pretty well sorted... only issue is he's seemingly busy or slow... probably busy, seems pretty industrious.
