NIGHTMARE of a job to fit... never, ever, ever, ever again will I attempt that. Straight to the f**king panel shop next time.

Anyone else attempted to fit theirs & in the process upgrade from pre-facelift to facelift? I had to hand make brackets to fit both the spots & indicators, which included drilling, welding, soldering & then hours upon hours of light alignment. not mention hours upon hours of bumper alignment.

Worth the 16 hours worth of work? I'll let you be the judge :)

I attempted to fit it myself before handing it over to the panel shop. A lot of cursing and swearing which finally resulted in the bar loosely hanging off the front of the car. Drove it into the shop and handed them the keys in shame while the workers chuckled at the huge gaps in between the bar, guards and bonnet.

That 'good fit' required a solid 8 Bourbon & Cokes coupled with a "You f**king c**t!" rating of 5.

I just got lucky on Ebay, the hole size in the bar is 86mm, the total outside diametre of the lights just happened to be - 86mm.

I can't even get the front bar off on ours to fix the alignment, let alone would I attempt to do a swap.

Awesome work though, looks perfect!

I know I really should of read all the posts but with my boss constantly walking past I dont really have time :P
Im just wondering if there is any chance of getting one of these in prefacelift?
I really prefer these type of fog lights plus I dont have the resources and people to help me convert them
