DCuatro Sideskirts Group buy

Post by dstocks »

Hey all,

Have had to rebuild this post as it was lost in the forum rebuild over Christmas. I have a set of DCuatro sideskirts that im looking at getting copied for members. The price would be $350 a set and would be made by the same people as the front bar group buy, so I expect they will be very good quality and an excellent fit. Im hoping to drop the skirts and car off around the 1st of march, but that doesnt leave much time to get numbers (ill need 10 people for this to go ahead as that is the number required to get a free mould). We had about 7 before, so I think that it is achievable. Once that side skirts are fitted to my car, I imagine it will be hard to get them removed to make a mould, so it will probably have to occur before they are put on the car.

Here is a picture or 2 of what these skirts tend to look like:

Oh and these are the sideskirts that match the facelift front bar from the group buy. If you are interested, add your name to the list....... Once your name is on the list though you are comitting to buy (as long as it goes ahead).

Hehehe .. Sweet, you remembered ... Heheheeh ...

Can't wait ... My baby is naked...

Is there any rear bar option Dwayne :?: Just that with these the car will look low at the front, and sides, but up in the clouds at the rear...

Also, and maybe would be a PM discussion, but if I have the old CF hood that was split a little at the front, do you think it would be worthwhile getting your guy to make a mould of it ... Saves guys having to buy off carmate ... Maybe we could even do a mix of stock FTO metal underbracing, and f/g top ... Or full f/g ...
I just had to add it ......

What design is it?. Im currently liking the one you have and am considering grabbing a fibreglass one off carmate (apparently they fit quite well according to higheredd).

      Exactly the same ... :D

I was looking at getting it repaired .. But after further investigation, I think the guy is going to charge a motsa .. So, I may as well use it as a template for something if that is the case...

But when I pick it up, I will get some pics and speak to the c/f guy again and see what he says ...

If the fit isnt perfect, I wont be putting it on my car and would not get moulds made for it.

As for the CF bonnet, im interested craig. How damaged is it?

The guy I deal with doesnt do CF I dont think, but if you wanted a mould of a stock bonnet for CF to be applied to, it could be arranged. Unless you want to pay for a mould though, youd have to get 10 people interested.

My offer is still there, if somebody wants to borrow the rear bar to make a mould, be my guest but I'm not going to be taking it off and putting it on myself, somebody else would have to organise that.

That, and I get it back in the same condition it leaves me.

Problem is finding somebody wanting to go out of their way to do this.

I would, but when making a mould of it, it could be possible that it is going to cause some damage..

I will be selling them after I get the new set as they are off one of the cars Dstocks picked up and they are in need of repare. I would rather use the $$$$ to get a new set than fix these ones up.
