great news everyone, have managed to renegotiate the deal so we can get the mould for free if we get 5 people (which we have). So its a goer. Now, for this one, Ill need cash fairly soon as I dont have a bucket of cash lying around anymore. My car is going in for the front bar paint and fitting of the sideskirt and moulding next Monday, so welll have a mould by the following Friday. So not too long to wait :D

Just so you know, the sideskirts will be fitted to the car before they are moulded, so they should be a perfect fit.

So if you dont have the cash already, start saving!!!!!!

Aye for sure .. needs a nice set of wide arches I think .. in white, & with the rest of the kit - WOULD BE AWESOME :)

and if he could get some moulded & fabbed up for the rest of us that'd be great too :P

lol, Someone else's turn to spend a packet..... Ill be making the rear bar and that will cost enough. Just to give you an idea:

My front bar cost $1800 in the end (although I have the original blended bar in the shed I guess). The exact same bar that I have is $500 in the group buy.

My Side skirts cost $800 to get repaired and painted. The group buy ones are made from this but are superior because they have more fibreglass in them and have a lip that goes over the door sill. These cost $360 in the group buy.

Also these are starting to Be made, so it would be good for those that have there names down on the list to start getting the payments ready. That way Dstocks is not out of pocket.

Dwayne are they easy to fit yourself? from memory there's a string of bolts on the stock skirts at the bottom and then some at the front end. how did you fit them?

From memory .. They just bolt in to where the mud flaps currently are .. So direct replacement ..

I would believe they will be easy to fit, as they are being made by the same guy that did our front bars... And his quality is great ... I have not heard of any issues with the bars what so ever...

Actually I lie, only issue was fitting them to a pre-facelift car, as you will have to play around with brackets to fit the bar .. Only because the pre-facelift does not have the same indicator/fog lights... But this is not a bar/design fault ...

Should be fairly easy. 2 bolts front and 2 at the rear. Im not sure about the middle yet as thats where the one I have differs from the copies. The copies have improvements in the centre section (the bit under the doors). Mine is also glued down with polyurathane (sikaflex), but on the copies im not sure that will be necessary.
