i reckon the ab style would look weird
i wonder if the evo style comes with the gills and stuff

hey guys
i've been thinking
if we buy a cf evo style hood and we spray over it
wouldnt it be a waste?
so i called UAS
they said they offer them in fibreglass as well for both styles
cost is 750

you're not giving up on the CF are you mikey?? :D by the time u paint the fibreglass might end up costing more than getting the CF bonnet..

A nice metalic green would look mad as!!!!
I was contemplatin resprayin my car in a metallic green but i just love the blue too much, still u'd stand out then!! :lol:

hey steve question, i seriously contemplatin gettin in on this, pending financial situations :cry: but i was just wonderin, can u get a stock cf bonnet?? if so would the price b any different??

that fiberglass evo bonnet sounds the go for me, Cops dont like the carbon fibre over here so would have to get it painted anyway.

Could you find out if there is any wieght differance between the two.

$750 for a fiberglass, how much cheaper in the group buy.

Any word on the shipping to perth yet.

is cf actually road legal?
as someone actually pointed out
750 for fibreglass + paint would = $ of cf bonnet
if its legal just get a cf !

Unfortunately like a lot of mods these days, its most likely up to the police's discretion! Im not sure if there is an actual law against it rather that police can defect your car for pretty much anything if they really want to, and in the case of a lot of cars its best to not do things to attract police attention :roll: Just make sure u pass the attitude test 8)

Would probably pay to run the idea past your insurance company however as they may not insure it, or even worse if u don't tell them and u have an accident they may not pay out 8O im gunna ring my insurance company (just cars) sometime this week and c what their stance is on it, ill keep ya posted :wink:
