EOI - C's Short Shifter Group Buy

Post by mr-charisma »

I've found a site that is selling the C's Short Shift kits with discounts for group purchases

Not sure if we will get 5 people interested, but the prices go down quite a bit after that..

The prices are as follows;

Was: $ 269.10

Sale Price: $ 194.82

o Buy 3 for $ 187.03 each save 4%
o Buy 5 for $ 177.27 each save 10%
o Buy 7 for $ 167.52 each save 15%
o Buy 10 for $ 157.76 each save 20%
o Buy 20 for $ 148.00 each save 25%

The price for 3 incl cheapest insured / registered postage to AUS works out to be $ 230.56 (plus postage to your area)
The price for 5 incl cheapest insured / registered postage to AUS works out to be $ 215.82 (plus postage to your area)
The price for 7 incl cheapest insured / registered postage to AUS works out to be $ 201.41 (plus postage to your area)
The price for 10 incl cheapest insured / registered postage to AUS works out to be $ 188.08 (plus postage to your area)

For a comparison, DStock's is able to get them landed to AUS for around $260 / $270 AUD without making any money from it.
Also, RPW sell one that is reconditioned from a stock shifter that goes for $295 AUD with $100 refunded upon you sending your stock unit back to them (postage est. around $40 both ways)

Those pics just don't look right :?
Also the 6A12 FTO is not on that list.
Are you 100% that these will fit our cars?

Sorry mate,

just realised what you meant, that the DE3A version isn't in the list...

I accessed it from this page, which is for DE3A;

http://www.rhdjapan.com/mitsubishi/de3a ... ts-collars

And then it changes to DE2A??

I'll contact the website owners for clarification & get back to you..

Could you upload pics of the one you just got?

It might be the case that this website has just uploaded generic pics for the short shifters, otherwise I'd be a bit wary of going ahead with the GB.

*edit* I've just checked the other listings for C's Shifters & they've just uploaded the same pics for all of them - skylines, evo's, 300zx etc .. the pic actually seems to be a Skyline version

I've emailed the mob that run the website, so hopefully I'll have some feedback soon.

is it really that much improvement from stock? I understand stock shifter is bloody long.

Does it feel as short as the S2000?

okay guys, got a reply from this mob;
Thank you for contacting RHDJapan! There was a product change and we readjusted the listing, it will work with these.

Mitsubishi FTO DE2A (Zenki - 10/94-01/96) Eng: 4G93
Mitsubishi FTO DE2A (Kouki - 02/96-02/97) Eng: 4G93
so it looks like this is a no go :(
