Kaze Fenders Group Buy

OK, firstly some pics:

And for those of you that want an idea of what this looks like with a stock bonnet:

Now, had a chat to the fibreglasser and these wont be made till next year, so plenty of time to save. This group buy will work slightly differently from the previous ones in that the first 10 people in will get a better deal (I managed to swing a great price for the first 10, but after that, the price goes up). So if you are one of the first 10, for $475 you get a set (both sides - freight will be extra). After that, the fibreglasser is raising his price by around $100. Youll notice from the pics, its a great fit. I only fitted them roughly to my car and you can see how well they match.

please Note, I might end up having to collect a deposit off people this time (not straingt away) as I have had a little trouble in the past with people pulling out and I have ended up having to fork out for the item instead.

Now, to names:

1. Me (ill pull my name off if we get to 10)
2. Aza
3. Rockit
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

So, if you want a set, add your name. First 10 get the price above. Number 11 will be paying more. Oh and I can look into a price for getting the top vent removed if anyone is interested.

Oh and I can still get the other parts of the kit (front bar, sideskirts, rear bar) if you want these as well - just let me know and ill line it up.

cheers

It's a sweet price too, if you tried to get these from over sees you would pay any thing up to $900-$1000 delivered.

Interested on knowing the weight difference between the stock and fiberglass fenders.
Any chance that you can weigh them?

It would not be a lot between them, but when you are looking to get weight out of the car every little bit counts :D .

Another good thing with these is they will help with break ventilation by sucking away the hot are and drag in cooler are past the breaks.

Bit of overlap. Ill need to modify my DC skirts as well.
    Ireland....
Hmmm think the fibreglasser will be able to send there but will confirm. Postage will be expensive..... On the plus side they are very light.

I wouldnt have thought there was that much difference, but when swapping them over for the pics, they are substantially lighter. It would only be a kilo or so though as the guards dont weight that much to start with.

Good thing is, that with the f/g skirt and the new guard in f/g, you can blend with no need to worry about cracks..... like when f/g is blended to metal... 8)
I just had to add it ......

Any chance on having a design without the top vents? Just the side vent.
I think that'd look pretty schmick and I'd have to put my name down for that :P

I can only do the mould with or without the vents, not both. Would be a shame to take them out for the mould though I think (would be too hard to put them in for those that want them). Ill have a talk to the fibreglasser and see what options we have.

Nah that's cool man, more people would be interested with the vents on top therefore it'd be inconvenient to take them out of the mold. If there are any other options? Probs best off just filling the vents myself with putty and sanding it back. Probably wont be a strong enough bond though, not sure.

Take the top vents out! They're ugly and if you have a a/m bonnet its wayyyyyyy overkill!

Yeah that's the reason I don't want them lol. They'd be okay with the stock but with my bonnet (ab style), I think it'd just look waaaay too ricey.
Side vents would look awesome though, makes the car look more sexy :D
