Vinyl Wrap

Post by dstocks »

Thought id chuck this up as a rolling offer (for now). Can organise a full car wrap in the colour of your choice for $1600 (there are a few special materials like the chrome that are extra). At this stage I believe he can do the work in Sydney or Canberra although I think Canberra is easier for him. He would need the car for about 5 days. Material itself is designed to last 5-7 years, but if you take care of it, should last longer. Price doesnt include door sills under boot or under bonnet. He can do smaller jobs while you wait (CF bonnet, roof etc). I can also get the materials themselves at a decent price I think.

Here is the list. Dont need any particular number and by putting your name down, you arent committing to a time frame (or even to getting it done), it just gives me an idea of what is in the pipeline, so I can keep him in the loop.

I'd love to get my bonnet done in carbon fibre. Don't suppose he has an agent in SE QLD?

dstocks, depending on how much you can get it for, i might be interested in material only (if possible).

been looking into wrapping anyway, and was too lazy to organise bulk lots of vinyl myself

I'm interested in the wrap only as well. Currently it looks like I can get ~70FT delivered for under $600 from the US. Any chance he gets it cheaper?

        about a car worth.

I was looking into getting 30m x 1.5m rolls, the ones I found range between $300 - $600 per roll delivered, but wasn't sure of the quality.

Why not? It should look half decent on mine with the black wheels and such dark tint and lights etc. if its only a few hundred more then I'm going to get it done.
Mid September in Sydney would be great Dwayne ?

Biggest reason would be that you will be blinding other drivers when the sun hits it. Wouldn't surprise me if it is illegal either.

Reason number 2, looks like crap.

And Ive just found out the material itself is very expensive (about 3x the cost of the normal stuff). Better to pick a colour.

What about a chameleon wrap? Or pearlescent colors ?
Or does it have to be a standard one color, to get that price..? If so, does anyone know the name of the brightest silver paint u can get?
