EOI: JPM Luminics Bulbs

Post by Boris »

Hi people,
I going to be purchasing a set of bulbs from the states, so if anyone else wants to get them with me to save on shipping please register your interest.

This is the place where I will be getting them from:
 http://www.jpmmotoring.com

These people do three types of bulbs, all prices are in USD, and are just the standard prices & exclude shipping atm. I'm just getting the number of people that might be interested.

JDM Yellow 9005: $35
JDM Yellow 9006 $29
Act. Wattage: 12V/55 watts
Proj. Wattage: 130W Projection
Kelvin: 2500
Warranty: 6 Months against Manufactures warranty

Ultra White 9005 $22
Ultra White 9006 $22
Act. Wattage: 12V/55 watts
Proj. Wattage: 130W Projection
Kelvin: 5150
Warranty: 6 Months against Manufactures warranty

Ultra Violet 9005 $23
Act. Wattage: 12V/55 watts
Proj. Wattage: 130W Projection
Kelvin: 7050
Warranty: 6 Months against Manufactures warranty

Those are the three types. Personally I'm after the yellow ones and the ultra violet ones. These are pretty good bulbs, and the ultra violet ones are not those cheap purple ones you see on ebay.

Anyway, there are a couple discussions about these on a few forums. If not many people want these, I will just go ahead and give these a try, I'm just getting specific pricing for shipping atm, so I will put it up as soon as i get a reply.

If anyone has any better suggestion for similar bulbs please let me know!

No specific deadlines, but probably to around the 15th of january... or possibly to the end of the month of January.

BTW: This Group Buy is in no way affiliated with the FTO Australia Club.

Yeah, HB4 is 9006, High Beam is HB3 (9005) but you can do a very simple mod so that you can fit HB3 into HB4 plugs.

If the violets actually look violet, then put me down for 2 sets of the hb3's!!

Pleaseeeee... they sound really good, do you have any pics of the violets in action?

This is the reply i got,
Shipping will most likely will be around 40-50 for 10-15 bulbs.
If you do order 10 or more, i will give a $2 discount off each set.
Also, we do have HID Kits that beat any other HID kit in the market.
Those run for $300.
After I get back from holidays I will post this at a few oter forums to try yo get up to 10 sets.

Sorry about the no updates. I have tried to e-mail a couple places but some don't even reply

At the moment I still want to get these but can't allow that money to go into any more cosmetic modifications, or any more modification, just maintanance.

So at the moment this purchase is on stand by for me anyway. So if anyone feels they really need them, and are willing to organize then i have no objection.

Sorry

So if you replace our low beams with these better high beam bulbs that we have to modify to fit, then what do we do for high beams? Do you put an even stronger one in for high? I like the Ultra Violets and would be interested in this upgrade too.
