Guys,

Get the Cusco Type OS front and rear strut bars if you want no hassles, and are strictly bolt-on. No bonnet closing issues for the front either.

I bought both for less than $200 (each), one from Perfectrun and the other from Checkerflag.

I can vouch for both the Cusco's quality as well as the service from Perfectrun and Checkerflag.
From FTO to EVO......

im guesing its going to cost $196 for a front one - cusco os 12300 Yen plus 4000Y postage = 16300 Yen.

Pretty good price, my only picky thing is that the ends all come in blue..... Everything in my engine bay is red! would prefer plain silver..

I have emailed me for a price on Cusco Front and Rears.
I also asked for a price if we buy 5 or more.

So about 145-150 per strut brace.

But that's only if we order 10 front and 10 rear bars.

Not bad....not bad at all, now we just need to work on the shipping part.

# Mitsubishi Lancer / Mirage Front Strut Bar (NR) L@@K

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 4534182721

$50... plus $20 delivery. From what I have been told, the FTO uses the same part as the lancer. I contacted the seller who says "it SHOULD fit the FTO as they use the same chassis frame etc...."

someone else might be able to shed some more light on this. I know they might not be the best quality, and they dont have Cusco or anything labelled on them, but for $70 could be food for thought?

Hey guys, I don't know if this helps or not. But I just discovered that the Cusco rear strut brace which I had lying around (which I thought only fitted Evo I-III Lancers) actually fits the following cars:

Lancer - CD5A, CD9A, CE9A, CM5A (GSR, Evo I-III)
Mirage - CC4A, CA4A, CJ4A
FTO - DE3A (all V6 models)

So it shouldn't be too hard to source them. I went outside and lined it up with my one (I have the factory rear brace) and it seems to fit fine.

The above information was on a little sticker on one end of the brace.

It's gone :( - now carless...

I worked out about $172AUD shipped for the Rear Strut Brace and around $108AUD shipped for the side repeaters from Perfect Run. This isn't with a group discount thing or anything, just the prices and shipping costs listed on there site.

Don't buythe lancer strut brace from "performance_wholesaler" of ebay, it's cheap, but shipping is will take a looooong time.
