Hmm... this is just what I want.

That's about £80 GBP + Shipping. I could start a EOI over on the UK site, but we'd need to know shipping costs and lead time for production.

Are these CNC milled?
Pom, pom pom, pom pom.

That'd be good. I'll try to find out the shipping costs for you. production is going kinda slow at the moment as i'm just startin university and i've got work commitments but i should be able to make at least 1 set a week and send em out as i make them if you want.
These are better pics if you want to post them.

Best get the final cost sorted first. My experiance with GBs is at least one out of ten drops out for some reason, usualy 2. Mind you I'm sure a few more ppl will jump on the list yet.

I'm the Group buy moderator on the UK site, so you can run it through me if you like.

ok i went to the post office and got a price for postage.
It will cost about $20AU which is about £8.50.
So since you have over 10 buyers i'll drop the price of the guides to $170(£72)

 Seatbelt Guides $170(£72) + Postage and Handling $20(£8.50)
 Total: $190(£80.50)

OK, I'll advise the price. Can you give me some more details of production time.
Also how payment will be processed.
I would prefer it if the individual buyer in the UK sent you the funds himself, and you then posted the guides off to his address. Does this sound ok for you?

Update on numbers
1. NobbyV4 - Yes
2. Mikethehappyman
3. adam_GPX - YES
4. SpaceCase - YES
5. Tapsell123
6. Smass101 - YES
7. SmokinMonkey

9. MrLee
10. Lyzzy -YES
11. AND_SOME Oooh Yess!

15. CaptainK YES
16. Hellboy
17. jim-bob - YES
18. Danny363 - YES
19. jlicence - YES
20. steve_coombs

I've now asked for commitment with the price you have given. I await the results. Should be OK as I overestimated the intial cost.

Considering the numbers we have, my question below is important. As we are looking at 5 months for some on the list at a pair aweek.

BTW are they CNCd or do you machine by hand?

Many tks

Production time as i said may be slow because of study and work commitments, although i will try to make them as fast as possible. I get a bit of a holiday in April, which will speed things up a fair bit and I’m hoping I’ll get faster with the more I do.

I think the best way to do it would be for me to make say 2 sets and contact the first 2 people on the list to send over their money and then once i receive the money I’ll send off the guides.

While waiting for payment I’ll continue working on the next 2 sets and once they are finished, contact the next 2 people on the list and so on...

Does that make sense?? This way i won't be holding peoples money for ages before they get their goods and gives people time to get the money they need. Is that all right with everyone??

BTW are they CNCd or do you machine by hand?
No. not cnc. They are hand cast then, hand sanded, then hand buffed using a buffing machine. Its a very labor intensive and time consuming process but the end result is guaranteed to be high quality.

I'd rather keep the price the same as people may drop out later and i don't want to be changing the price back again and causing confusion.

And to be honest i can't make them any cheaper or they won't be worth me making. They are really hard to make you know

And yeah i really wish i had access to a cnc machine, but the sanding and polishing part is the hardest bit.

Thanks

You f**king poms, you've all got too much money, the lot of you :P

As ummm has already discussed the process for him is quite intensive to make these guides. Please for his sake through in a couple extra quid (perhaps offer a higher price to gain priority on the list, as it stands it will take him almost 6months to forfil this order.

It's not my money, it's the bank managers :(
ppl have already starting talking about swapping the order in the list so they can balance their budget, mind you it's a nice few $ for Aussie ecomany isn't it. I wished I'd sorted out my 3D cad drawing of them now as I'd apprached a company about CNCing these from billet before Christmas, would have been worth it if I'd know the numbers involved and possible to get them done cheaper and defo quicker.

Top marks to umm though, takes a lot of commitment to look at 23 ppl and 6 months worth of work.
