I have some great news guys, after arriving at lunch time, all possible packages were dispatched this late this afternoon. Please click here to view your package status.

All items have been sent via express post, therefore everyone bar Michael (SG) can expect their packages to arrive on Monday. Michael unfortunately being in WA the express post network cannot guarantee delivery to your postcode, you should have you lead set by Tuesday or Wednesday.

So, how do we put these things on,
I am assuming we just have to pull out the old cables and insert the new set,
There is no tricky business between

noob question, how do i connect the leads? 8O
The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world's problem.

lol here we go

Gotta pull your Mivec cover off & then the entire intake manifold... what underneath will look something simliar to this (This is the GR version but is effectively the same as GPX as far as leads & coil packs go)

Image

This is the front bank - the leads have small plug that go into the coil packs on this side.

On the other side the leads have a complete spark plug boot on it - it goes straight onto the plugs in the rear bank.

As you can see by the numbering, which lead goes to which cylinder on the rear bank.

If you need to know more just ask.

yep. now if u have never taken off your inlet manifold before it might be a good idea to buy the gasket just incase it breaks when u pull it off...although its a metal gasket and when i took mine off there was no dramas....

you will have to disconnect some hoses etc...however for a DIY check the DIYFTO website.

Might have few beers, bbq, house warming thingi and do these cables and plugs for all our cars,
I might talk to Mitsu Werrebie to get some gaskets and will collect it for you.
