(closed) Group Buy: NGK & MAGNECOR Leads

Post by khunjeng »

Andrew from Kudos Motorsports (SAU Trader) has given me some group buy prices for MIVEC suitable spark plugs - let me know if you want some GR ones.

At this stage he hs only quoted prices for Platinum (PFR7M) & IRIDIUM (IRIWAY) Plugs suitable for the FTO GPX/MIVEC engine.

I need EOI before we can calculate the total cost however if we order 15-20 sets (set=6 plugs) we will be getting a huge discount on the RRP for each type in the order of $4 per plug! He has quoted me for express delivery how we can get a cheaper deliver method if required which will reduce the overall cost. The SAU site, due to volumes got the price for a set of 6 IRIDIUM plus down to 99 incl. delivery - what a difference volumes make!

For info on IRIDIUM style plus have a look as the UAS test results under the FTO Project section of the forum.

If we have suitable intrested we can mmake this a group buy and get to competed quickly. All transastions will be done with Kudos direct. I think these are very suitable prices and I am still trying to get the price lower but with expected volumes its hard to get a better deal than what we have got.

EOI Group Buy : MIVEC Spark Plugs

If u have a GR i think the currect plug is the BKR6EIX - which are $100 per set as I bought some off him a while back... FYI GR owners...these are IRIDIUM spec plugs.

These IRIDIUMs only last like 15-20,000km but aparently do a great job over a wide temp range and some forums are quoted figures of like 2-3kw gains form their tests......I doubt anyone on this forum actually leaves their plugs in for 100,000kms!! not in thos forus.. hehe so if thats an issue let me know.

If your in melb we can do pickup and save a fair bit on postage also..

yeah they are bulit for performance not durability.

If there is little more intrested I can purchase 3-4 sets at a good discount to RRP.

I might look at doing that Wednesday as i want mine soon.

hmmm
bugger
i may skip and just get the regular ones then...
i dont think i can be stuffed with a 1/4 life cycle for 2kw

though if we still group buy he has the PFR7M's which are the same price as Supercheap, maybe save a couple of bucks on those

go for standard if u think thats better...like your gnna leave those plugs in for 4 years anyway.

if u get a 1-2k gain for $50 more wouldn't you go for it? anyway its up to u...if no intrest I will get them and everyone can continue to use the old ones.

Can this be moved to a group buy admins?? looks like we have the minumum qty to make this happen?

ok between 5-10 ppl we can get them for :

$147.20 incl delivery...(23.40 each + p&h)

10+ = 140.18

15+ = 133.51

check this previous GB out...$33!
http://www.ftoaustralia.com/modules.php ... c&start=20

search for IRIWAY..
http://www.terato.com/cars/content/view/216/38/

with regards to the 15-20,000 km life span...thats the NGK spec as they are a race plug...under normal FTO conditions...it will last longer...assuming your car is runnig fine and I have seen quotes of over 100,000miles...

if we do pickup the delivery cost of ~$8 can be eliminated also..picup in vic of course..

Guys I picked up a set of 6 NGK Iridium IXs late last year for approx AUS$80 off a guy in the US, brand new.

Am more than happy to investigate bulk order.

//edit: Oops just realised you guys are talking about Iriways..
