GPvR (or whatever) Wreck/Parts For Sale

Post by HeRo »

My blue GPvR or GP or something had an accident.

I am selling the wreck for 2k. Can sell parts but not ideal. It is still driveable so this is ideal for someone who

1.wants a cheap project car
2.wants a good parts opportunity (parts worth over 2k)
3. Engine is fine. Radiator is fine. All parts besides below are fine.

To put it on the road it needs to fix

-air con condenser
-bonnet
-front bar
- left headlight

no current pictures of damage but the original car pics are in the car for sale thread under blue GPvR.

Sucks that I part with the car this way but in an odd way it is kind of good timing as I just bought a VW R36 which I'm pretty wrapped about :D

Lol. Yeah i think so actually, although it wouldn't be the most pleasurable drive. The tyre scrubs the front guard when turning right at any moderate angle.

And you wouldn't be able to drive at night legally with only one headlight.

The car has been written off, so I don't think it can be re-registered.
Did the insurance company cancel your rego?

I know in NSW in can only be repaired and re-registered by the owner whom owned it when it was written off.
No other person can do it.

It is a repairable write-off so can be re registered.

Here are the pics - not "too bad" i think. I've also misinterpreted my gf's incident. Originally i thought the red runner did the side collision (before seeing it and obviously wasn't paying enough attention) but its the other way around. the car ran a red, both slammed the brakes and did some weird side, fronty angle collision thing.

It's still sitting at Abbotsford Body Repairs if you want more pics i can take them.

Parts needed to fix are unchanged. Body shop claims that both headlights need changing but only one is cracked and the lights work so not sure why they would say that. They also think the side guard needs replacing.but even with my knowledge i highly doubt that. Looks like some panel beating is needed but not replacing....maybe this is why it was written off- Over quoted?

I'm actually considering fixing this up myself because i can't seem to let it go :( . I've been in other FTOs before but they don't sound the same :/

Problem is i don't have the space to store it, mechanical gift or disposable income atm for a project car (story of my life)
