SOLD: Project F Taillights

Post by HiRAEdd »

I pulled these off my car before I sold it with plans to restore them but have never gotten around to it. Here's the pertinent details first:
- They are genuine Project F Taillights - I sold a kidney to buy them.
- As such, they indeed suffered the dreaded water leaking issue. You can actually see it starting in the photo above.
- To bring them back to usable, the clear cover needs to be polished and they need to be resealed. I have a roll of chrome wrap here somewhere that if I find, I'll throw in if that's what you want to do.
- They come with LED bulbs but you'd need the LED controller to slow down your indicators if you aren't already running LED bulbs.

If you planned on "converting" them to the darker tint tail lights that I've seen around, there would probably be less restoration work required.

I don't want to leave any confusion - these lights need some restoration work to bring them back to usable.

If there is any interest here, I'll take some detailed photos and upload them (they're in storage atm). As for price, that's open for discussion. I'm going to get a tiny fraction of what I paid for them given their condition.

Cheers,

Gavin

I paid $2,000 for these landed in AUS (let's not discuss whether that was a good or bad investment decision ;)).

What about $200?
