HID headlight

Post by DODO`` »

My GPX came with the headlight with aftermarket HID kit installed.
I'm all about keeping the car to factory state.

I'm letting go of this headlight with the HID so its just going to be plug and play for the new owner..

I can sell it OR,

swap it with the factory headlight in good nick. Straight swap. only condition is I have to be happy with the condition with your headlight.

Photo is from the actual car. I can give it another polish before sale / swap.

And why sell/swap?

Just remove the HIDs if you don't want them.

Or find someone selling OEM D2S HID headlights (like me). I suspect delivery will be a killer from the UK.

He's got a set of D2S lights. But when the vehicle was brought into Australia they removed the HIDs and converted to halogen for compliancing.

were you installing the OEM HID into your vR or GPX (&other sub models) ?

OEM HID lights have 2 electrical connectors. and other sub models have 3 connectors. how did you get around this?

Bit late in my reply (circa 4.5yrs), but retrofitted. There is still only a pair of cables going to the ballast, so no surgery required, just a bit of soldering. :-)

Why would you hide your headlights? And why would you pay someone for a kit that hides it? :clown:
