Hey guys, i'm going to go up to wakefield on the 9th of July as a birthday present to myself.

Anyone that want to come please register your interest here.
I don't know what forms we will need to fill in etc, but i'l find that out closer to the day.

Update Guys!

We have possible 2/3 FTO's coming not including myself, along with maybe some mirage lancer guys.

The deal is, it all starts at 9AM, we pretty much rock up at 9, or possible earlier to get a good spot... quickly fill out the forms, and our cars get checked... then we hit the track.

Now the sessions are normally 20mins each. There are 3 categories I think

1) Race Cars
2) Street Cars
3) Open Wheelers

If there will be lots of cars, in the street car section they will reduce the session time to 15mins, and split the category up. So all up we may be looking at around 6 sessions, maybe more maybe less...

Pretty much there will be a session every hour, it stops at 4PM.

There is a cafe there, for anyone that is hungry, I will also bring drinks and a portable BBQ with my famous kababs 8)

I have to mention that the sessions will not be timed, just going out there to have fun!

Now the cost for all this all is cheap!

Entry: $80
Licence: $40
Helmet: $20 + $50 Deposit

All you really need for the day is to make sure your tyres are all good, you will prob go through not more then 1/3 of them, depends how you drive, also need to make sure brakes are ok, and do an oil change or a service before the day.

Thats all folks, going to be a good day!

Ok, for the people that are racing from Canberra, we are meeting at the service station near the large round about at 7:40am

The petrol station will also give us a chance to check our tyre pressure.

I want to get there by about 8:30.

wakefield normally opens at 9am.
There will be no scruiteneering, you are meant to check your car. sigh the forms pay money, and off we go.

For people that are going down to watch, either turn up at that time, or come when ever you want. We will be in one of the garages. I will probably start cooking kababs, aroun lunch time.

Depending on the weather it may be slightly foggy, the forcast so far is rain in canberra, but I know Goulburn hardly ever gets rain, so i think we may be safe!

My mobile is 0414 294 590 if anyone doesn't already know.

Ok, Im gonna do my darndest to get to Wakefield on Saturday..
Its been on my calendar for months & there are still people trying to divert me elsewhere!! With my misses having appendicitis 8O and being in & out of hospital, me having badly injured my neck mountain bike riding last weekend... god damn it!!

If the misses is ok - I'll be there, but Im not gonna run the car. Very sore neck I'd rather not be looking out for Hero's in Rexes trying to overtake me... its not gonna stop me getting there thou! Especially with the kebabs on the menu :D

I guess we will find out on the day. I'm sort of hoping 1/2 day wet track, and the other half dry track... wet would be very technical 8)

Triple posting  :x :(

For anyone that want how to get there, here is a link, you want map 3, and you need to follow braidwood road south.

http://www.wilmap.com.au/nswmaps/goulburn.html

Weather is hard to predict atm, looks like we might get a shower or two... but atleast that should spice things up even further.

Pete, i'll meet you at the servo, near that large round about, on the road out of Canberra...
I donno if they are will let us cook kababs in the garages, i din't think of that....... :|

As you can tell guys, i'm excited, triple posting n all
