Class win!... 2-litre and under

Post by RichardH »

Just scored 1st place in Class A (2001 cc and under) in the AHG "State Autotest Championship 2006" series.

This was an eight-round event, with the finals held today. Scored 3 first places, 2 seconds and 2 thirds, and missed a round. We got to drop our worst round. Ended up winning it on points.

For the "outright" placings (ie. classes notwithstanding), came in equal fifth.

Gotta be happy with that! :D

so in the under 2001cc class, i assume it was restricted to natural aspiration? or were you up against SR20DET cars as well?

Forced induction meant a 1.7 multiplier to engine size. So turbocharged cars competed in a different class.

Even with those taken out of the equation, cars like Lotus Elise/340r & PRB Clubman were tough to come up against. It was a great event to be a part of. Looking forward to 2007! :)
