Just this morning I lost all gears but 2nd (but I can't actually take it out of second)

Thinking it's the gear selector bracket too, so I'm posting here so 1) the thread is easier to find again,
and 2) does anyone have a good one?

I'm going to send Dwayne a text and see if he can get me a brand newy.

Will be having a go at this sometime in the next week or two.

That actually sounds like the cables as it wont even get out of gear
with the bracket you'd still be able to get out of gear...

Hmm.. Don't know if I want to hear that. That sounds much harder...
Anyone done that? I'm really hoping to tackle this myself,
I'll have to pull the battery and tray out soon (maybe tomorrow) and check if it's the bracket or not.
Anyone know what I'm looking for?

Ok everyone,

Is there a quick test I can do to see if it's bracket or cables? (guessing best way it to have a look at the bracket first) - what am I looking for?
Any guidance appreciated. :)

Well my bracket was snapped, so that's good news! (no cable issues), it was tested, when put back in place it shifts no problems.
If Dwayne has the bracket (which he thinks he does), then I'll be fixing it on Saturday!
