You can do a bit of DIY error code extraction using this method:

That may arm you with enough ammunition to take it back and get something done about the TCL issue... assuming a code is reported.

someone else used to have this prob.
Happened at 160k when tcl came on, then it gave up.
Also when goin through big puddles
and sometimes for no reason at all.
The sensors were cleaned and Throttle position sensor reset and it was fixed.
