I have two unsolved issues since the conversion...

The speedo has stopped working completely. I've changed the cluster three times, removed the speed sensor and put in the one from the auto box. I then bought a brand new sensor thinking the other two must be fucked.
(Although they look fine. ) still no fix.... Reset the ecu each time I replaced them.. Wiring seems fine, plug connection is nice and clean... what the f**k is going to fix it? Sick of not knowing whether the bloke tailgating me is just a complete fuking c**t, or because I'm doing 10k under the limit

Is there a fuse????? Please tell me there's not a f**king 5cent blown fuse

I had this problem bro there is one more sensor u can try it sits on top of the gear box I cant for the life of me think of it though I do know its compatible with a excel though haha sorry I know it doesnt help at least u know there one more sensor

Sahin had the same problem, he swapped ecus, speed sensors, I retired the whole wiring down at the gearbox still didn't work.

Might be the reverse speed sensor I know sounds wierd but I think its the one

Nah bro I could not for the life of me figure out what it was... I changed every single sensor, I changed the wiring all the way, cluster, fuses you name it lol even both ecu's!

I know it's not printed well but it's all I got.

Do the voltage and continuity tests first.
Then if you need help locating the connectors described for testing, I can post up some pics from the electrical manual.

Thanks Philo, but that's sorta all above my skill level... I don't have one of those voltometre thingys that read volts
I've got a pen thing with a clip, when u earth it and touch a live wire, there's a light that comes on..... That's how I install stereos

Might just take it to an auto eleccy with that diagram and see what they can do sometime.

If you go buy a cheap $10-$20 multimeter I could guide you.

Unplug the sensor, turn on the ignition, grab the sensors harness plug, put your voltmeter on V DC 20.
Put the red probe on pin #1 and the black probe on an earth (any clean metal part of the car), the multimeter should say 12-13.6V
Put the red probe on pin #3 and the black probe on an earth, the multimeter should say 4.8-6.2V
Switch the multimeter to Continuity
Put the red probe on pin #2 and the black probe on an earth, the multimeter should read close to zero and/or buzz.
The results from these tests will guide us to the next step required.

The first pic shows the sensor and in the corner it shows the pin #'s
The second pic shows where the sensor is earthed, check that.
