So im trying to fix the slight movement in the steering wheel (about 1-2 cm movement side to side) and i think its from the tilt bracket. The small plates slide in the cut out "V" then bolt on, but if i adjust the wheel height the movement comes back. Im not %100 sure but are the small plates meant to be glued on (notice the 4 small holes in the corners) and only come off after the driver hits the steering wheel in a crash?
any help would be appreciated! want to get this thing on the road!!!!!!!!

Re: tilt bracket
Nope, but the slot in the piece in the first picture needs to line up with the groove in the 2nd picture. Should fit snugly.

Re: tilt bracket
Still shouldnt move like that if installed properly. Ive pulled them out before and put them back and not got the sort of movement you are talking about.
