Re: Installing clutch pedal
Assembly should be here tomorow
However, it has come to my attention that drilling the holes through the firewall is going to be very tricky and very costly if I f**k it up.
Likelihood of me f**king it up....hmmm. Based on the facts
I only get one try at it
The guide I have is very very basic in explaining it.
It's the last step
The position is very difficult to get to with a drill
And because its just me in particular ... The chances are moderatelyhighly possiblelikely that I shall .f**k.It.UP.
I'd like to bring it down too low or 50/50 at least
For Anyone that has done this, it would be very VERY much appreciated if you could walk me through it with a step by step write up(with a few pics would be fuking brilliant) but all and any genuine help would be great. THANKYOU

Re: Installing clutch pedal
Done it. If motor in car try lower it by removing side mount there is actually a flat on firewall that you drill through. Will be easier if you make a template too. Don't worry if not perfect once all bolted up inside cabin and on wall it will be fine

Re: Installing clutch pedal
Really... Does it have to be drilled from inside the cabin? Or easier to lower the engine and do it from the outside?vipfto wrote:Done it. Re: Installing clutch pedal
How do I no where to drill from the outside though? The arm has to come through and attach to the pedal.. If its off the slightest then it won't connectvipfto wrote:No I mean lower engine do from outside lol be impossible to do from cabin. You'll be fine dont stress over it,

Re: Installing clutch pedal
yeah so i fucked it up.
going to cut the square out and then makeup a plate (with the holes for the cylinder allready cut) and bolt it to the wall. get it welded on later.
