Slight whine on slow acceleration?
My car seems to be making a slight whining noise when taking off (especially just after changing into 2nd, 3rd), can't pinpoint exactly where it comes from, but more the the left side of the car

Have thought about it again, could be noises from the driveshafts, have 2 new outer cv joints to go on, work pay just isn't allowing for labor at the moment

Re: Slight whine on slow acceleration?
Is it a high pitched whine or more of a deeper whirring noise?

Is there a slight noise while idling and does it go away when the clutch is pressed?

Not 100% sure goes away on clutch in when I'm moving, but as i said mainly when taking off and keeping the revs low, stops at about 2.5, 3k rpm, definitely not an oil problem but remember the clicking noise with the old motor since it burned through roughly 1 litre a week
