I lost my passenger side mirror, how to replace?

Post by jkos »

Hey guys. Im in a bit of funk. Lost my passenger side mirror and i need a replacement. But the problem is my car is a unique blue colour and I'm thinking I'll need to just replace both. Would i be able to do this on my own and how much would I be looking at to replace them? Whats a fair price? I'm really reluctant to take it to a mechanic which will cost a couple hundred, don't have that type of money to spend right now.

Just get your paint code and take a replacement driver's mirror to a paint shop and get them to match the color and spray it.

Do you have pics of your car?

Ahh.. thought it may have been my old car

Nice color. Check your glovebox for a card or something. My custom colored blue GPX owner's manual had it written in one of the pages.

Just kick the other mirror off so your not tempted to use em. Not important, just use the rear view one.

Alternatively your car may look good with black mirrors.
