Putting boots isn't gonna be that hard, I just don't want to take a shower in gear box oil, that's why don't want to take the inner cups out. :)

You don't have to take the cups out I guess but it really is a pain in the ass.

Hmm, there's a cv shaft shop here, I'll take the axle to them I guess...and open the existing ripped off boot if this one doesn't fit.

Just try and put the boot onto the cup and see if it fits?

And Matt, thanks for the offer mate, really appreciate it, but I want to do all work on my car by myself, that's the only way I'll ever get to learn. If you come to help me, I'll just stand beside you with a beer and not learn anything. If I get completely stuck I hope you guys can lend me a hand or give me some tips :)

Yeah just take the boot you got and try and shove it onto the cup and if it fits flush it's the right one if not clean it and take it back and go to a cv shaft shop with your old boot

So only way it won't fit is the length right? It has matching triangular grooves inside it as well.

Urgh, you know what I mean :P those three triangular thingy in the boot should go in to the cup and fit perfectly. Like slot in. I'll clean the cup and just try fitting them in I guess.
