Post by Herron »

Hey, does any one know the part number or specifications for the FTO tie rod ends, any cars which share the same part?

Are the steering rack ends and tie rod ends the same thing? Im after the boots which go on the end of the steering rack because mine have opened up and will eventually fail.

Do you mean the larger boots that are over the inner tie rods and rack or the small ones that are on the outer tie rods and connect to the hub?

thats an excellent question, I've been discussing this with my mechancic. I'm assuming the part i need is up near the steering rack and not near the wheel hub.
