Sound Behind Steering Wheel

Post by Strkszone »

The car still drives fine, but every time I turn the wheel it sounds like something has been knocked loose and is clacking like a lego that has been chucked behind my steering wheel. Any ideas on what it can be..? It happened right after some dickhead pulled out in front of me and I pressed the horn pretty hard.

Probably smashed the horn button and it's broken and rattling around now. They shatter pretty easy.

Yeah, think you're right... but the horn still works. Any idea on how I can just remove the bits out of the horn and replace the rubber bit?

More concerned about fitting it back in than anything else, do I just use a screw driver to jimmy it back in? I don't wanna remove it without knowing how to put it back aha xD

I think there is a screw at the back that you need to remove before you can pull the front off.
