Flywheel to Suit 6A12 Mivec

Post by V6Pulsar »

I'm in the process of building a race car based on a GTi-R Pulsar with a 6A12 Mivec V6 driving a transaxle at the rear (i.e. RWD). Both engines I have are out of auto FTO's, and the transaxle will be either a FWD or converted AWD Subaru Impreza box. For simplicity, I want to run the clutch on a flywheel at the motor, rather than at the trans itself as would be the case if I used an Alfa 75 transaxle.

Ignoring issues surrounding clutch activation and driveshaft, can anyone suggest a suitable lightweight flywheel that would bolt straight up to the crank?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Good luck with all of that.

Fidanza does one, can get it from RPW for $600 - http://www.rpw.com.au/shop/index.php?pa ... 1&Itemid=1

There is also one here - http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/shop/p/1 ... -1996-2000

Exedy does one too, from memory for $300, and that's the one I was going to buy, but can't seem to find the link...
I fix cars.
