Auto Slipping
Hey all what causes a slipping of 2nd to 3rd gear when the gearbox is cold? Eg. During first change from 2nd to 3rd after a long stationary period, say overnight?
Seems to do it less if in tiptronic?
Shift after the first couple 2nd to 3rd shift becomes smooth?
thanks

Re: Auto Slipping
On top of the transmission the grey one. Discovered the fix by accident. I bascially filled a little jar with electrical contact cleaner, dunked the connector in the cleaner for about 10 mine and no sh*t the jay was black by the end of it. So much sh*t gets in there, due to the location it is in.

Only Sahin could resurrect an almost 10 year old, 1 post thread and talk sh*t about it
